Both members of the South Korea band 'From The Airport', Milo and Zee, had clear musical visions ever since they started hitting piano keys and tuning guitars in their early years - 'Use music as a means to convey powerful, positive messages.' Hence when they coincidentally met at an indie rock concert early 2012, they instantly realized what their next musical project was going to be - music amplifying messages to listners around the world, and thus the band name 'From The Airport'.

Blending Milo's experienced guitar and melody writing abilities from his progressive metal and film music projects and Zee's piano and dj/producing skills became From The Airport's unique music; the urge to create a revolutionary sound made the band to term its genre as new electro rock, a killing blend of energizing distortion, dancing beats, pop melodies and meaningful lyrics.

From The Airport's first two singles received positive reviews from listeners and blogs not just in South Korea, but also from around the world. The band's third single 'Timelines' reached #1 on Indie Shuffle's Popular Chart 25.

New single 'Black Skies' is the electro rock track thinks back at the terrorist activities and the dictatorships around the world, and the people who have suffered from them. The song swings from the dark verse parts to the brighter and more hopeful chorus sections, as the band wished to instill the message of hope and a sunnier future. The guitar riff section in the middle symbolizes the violence and warfare related to terrorism and dictatorships, as does the title 'Black Skies'. Musically, the track bases itself upon heavy beat and bass sounds, with ominous choir synths and guitar riffs on top. To further intensify the track mood and to reiterate its core meaning, the band included some narrations directly pointing at various incidents of violence. All in all the track is dynamic in both musical depth and meaning.

멤버 Milo와 Zee로 구성된 From The Airport는 2012년 첫 싱글 'Colors'를 시작으로 해외 여러 음악 사이트와 커뮤니티에서 특유의 참신한 음악 스타일로 주목을 모으며 데뷔했다. 'Colors'가 국내 최초로 미국 대형 인디뮤직 포털사이트 Indie Shuffle 랭킹 13위에 오르는 등 해외 시장에서의 가능성을 보여주었으며, 세 번째 싱글 'Timelines'는 Indie Shuffle의 Popluar Chart 1위에 등극하는 성과를 이루기도 했다.

11월 7일 iTunes에서 발매된 디지털 싱글 'Black Skies'는 세계 각국에서 반복되는 독재와 테러 활동, 그리고 그로 인해 고통받는 사람들에 대해 돌이켜보게끔 하는 음악이다. 중반부의 기타 리프와 나레이션에서 또렷하게 표현된 핵심 메세지 '반폭력'은 후반으로 갈수록 점점 밝은 분위기로 전개되는 곡 구성을 통해 암울한 현실에서 더 나은 내일의 희망으로 펼쳐진다. 무게감 있는 비트와 베이스 사운드, 다채로운 신디사이저와 그 위에 얹혀진 기타 리프로 역동적인 음악성과 확연한 메세지를 고루 갖춘 'Black Skies'는 올해 꼭 들어야 할 가장 의식 있고 세련된 일렉트로 팝 넘버가 될 것이다.
