DESCRIPTION:
Independent Melbourne Label, YakMusic Records, is proud to officially announce the remaining artists set to feature on their upcoming digital compilation album. Entitled "Songs for Blake -- Embracing Autism", the collection will be available via online stores such as iTunes, Amazon, and Bandcamp in early May 2014.

"Songs for Blake" is the brainchild of Mark Davis, whose youngest son Blake was a given a preliminary diagnosis of Autism (or ASD - Autism Spectrum Disorder) in February 2013, at the age of 2 years and 7 months. In August 2013, Blake's final diagnosis was that he showed "severe symptoms of ASD."

Since April last year, Mark has been approaching artists from all over the globe to take part in the compilation and a total of twenty four artists - from the USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, and Australia - have all contributed their own songs to raise funds for ongoing early intervention costs to support Blake, helping him become the best person with Autism that he can be.

YakMusic Records first announced news of the compilation in November 2013, along with thirteen confirmed artists - including Seattle legend Shawn Smith, Alternative Pop Rockers sElf, Blind Melon front man Travis T Warren, New Zealand's R&B/Soul Beats Digital Dub singer/songwriter/producer Adi Dick, and Kiwi Progressive Indie Rock icons The Phoenix Foundation.

YakMusic Records are now thrilled to announce the inclusion of eleven more bands for "Songs for Blake -- Embracing Autism":

The final track-listing is set to be announced on the Songs for Blake website later this month, closely followed by the official release date.
