After the Confederate Teds' decay , Texas & Tweeny wanted to make up a new band, they met Menouar at a friend’s wedding . They didn't see him since 1985 but they did remenber that he was a good drummer . The trio needed a bass player . Stephan went from his deep South in the suburb of Paris for professional reasons . The rest of the band didn't know that he was born with a bass in the craddle !

In July 2003, Stephan needed to go to the United States for professional reasons, and the band needed a new bass player.

Yann, the son of Tweeny & Texas , who was a drummer, learned bass with Texas as teacher, and after September 2003, after 2 gigs with Otto from Italy (Hellcats) as a bass player, Yann was allready to play in the Band.

Unfortunately, in September 2005,Menouard left the band for personnal reasons & the band needed a new drummer.

So Yann decided to play drums and J-P who loves british rockabilly arrived and played bass with the band.

The LONG BLACK JACKETS are now ready to play all over the world !

Now Long Black Jackets starts to play all over Europe like in Italy, Spain, Germany, Netherland, .And played with some well-know bands in gigs like Sandy Ford, Matchbox, Crazy Cavan, Darrel Higham,. Became more apreciate by the audience thanks to a more powerful sound given by Yann and J-P and the band had a record session with Andy Williams from UK.



NOW in 2008 we have a new bass Player. OTTO mentioned earlier join us on bass guitar !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
