The Flying Saucers

The Flying Saucers were formed in 1972 by bassist Pete Pritchard, drummer Terry Earl, guitarist Nigel "Nigsy" Owen and sax player Jacko Buddin. Their original lead singer was Alan Jones. In 1975 Sandy Ford replaced Alan as lead singer.



Sandy Ford and the Flying Saucers were rock and roll royalty. True professionals. They were - THE REAL THING. They were not just musicians who played rock and roll music. They believed in rock and roll - they LIVED rock and roll.



The Flying Saucers were a highly-polished, well-oiled rock and roll artillery unit, made up of five talented musicians. Such was their enormous popularity that they were working extensively on the club and college circuit, weekenders, plus several highly successful tours of Europe, earning standing ovations from European rock'n'roll fans during the late 1970s and early 1980's.
