Murder Inc. - Uninvited guest - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 31, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
Following yet another temporary breakup in the early '90s, the members of the eternally volatile Killing Joke re-formed (minus vocalist Jaz Coleman) under the Murder Inc. banner. Including Revolting Cocks vocalist Chris Connelly, guitarist Geordie Walker, bassist Paul Raven, and drummers Paul Ferguson and Martin Atkins (ex-PiL) the founder of Pigface and invisible records, the band conspired to record 1992's eponymous LP for independent Invisible Records. Despite mixed response from critics and fans over the group's avant-garde alt-rock, a short bout of touring encouraged the band to carry on long enough to record the following year's Corpuscle EP. But Murder Inc. disintegrated as soon as a financially enticing recording contract for a newly re-formed Killing Joke hit the negotiating table, and 1999's Locate Subvert Terminate: The Complete Murder Inc. collection would serve as last will and testament to the band's brief existence.

Poison dripping gently back and forth
Between us both
Ascends in increments,
Outside where time collides
In sychophantic dead-end lines,
Guilt alone will colour truth,
It never needed me or you,
Fake confessions burn my night
To waking moments.

Accusations fly like birds of prey,
Into the heart of my darkest day.

Climbed the staircase in the rain,
Risked my neck for you again,
If I wanted to I could,
It never does me any good.

What is life without despair?
The elevated moods we share?

Forced to welcome comfort like disease,
Take your medicine and leave,
Wrap your fingers 'round my past -
Breaks your skin like broken glass.

Bleed into the paper cup,
Drink it down then spit it up,
Make a mess upon the floor,
On which you crawl to lock the door.

Accusations fly like birds of prey,
Into the heart of my darkest day.
