DESCRIPTION:
LNRipley is a band that takes the language of drum and bass vinyls, contaminates it with different influences and brings it live in a set of raw energy, without using computers or recorded tracks but playing everything live, with a very specific mission: shaking the dance floor like an earthquake.
The approach is not that of a traditional band, but more like a deejay creating a sound flow looking at people reactions: drum and bass but also punk, electronics but also electricity.
One bass guitar, a drummer, two grooveboxes and a "mad dog" frontman, together they take no prisoners: the speed and pulse of a rave party is mixed with a lo-fi, punk approach totally dedicated to playing everything out of the instruments.
This smashing release features two hard edged songs remixed from the mighty LNRs drummer dj Ninja and Modulates boss Matteo aka Raid.
