Inspiration
It can hit you when you least expect it,
A spark in the darkest of places,
A bolt out of the blue.
Sometimes it can seem like it's forever away, further than forever
Forever and a day.
But even though you can't always see it, or tangibly feel it.
It is always waiting for you.
Waiting to be found,
Like a secret carved into a tree by someone longing, loving in vain.
Eventually, it'll be discovered intertwined
under the moss,
A gleaming heart, offering the promise of an idea.
The promise of a new start,
Of something different.
