DESCRIPTION:
I decided to take off my country girl hat off recently to learn a little bit about blues music. Justin Aron is a Winnipeg-based blues artist who has performed in famous blues clubs in Dallas, Chicago, as well as other Canadian cities. He has the same sound as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Freddie King and Robert Cray. Aron, along with his band Dirty Pool, released their debut CD Juke Joint in 2014 and are set to release their second album later this year. I sat down with Justin so he could tell me what blues music is to him, what makes it so special. He describes blues “as a true labour of love.”
