She is the second child of five children from her loving parents Donna and Randy Deacon. At the tender age of seven (7) is when her first taste of what would eventually mold her into the talent she is today, her Mothers decision to enroll her into piano lessons. It was not long before she was advancing to singing, which led to her being chosen for the Burnaby Childrens Choir. By the age of fourteen (14), Lisa Deacon had honed her skills to be able to concentrate exclusively on becoming the singer she always thought she would become. Her single most vocal inspiration came from the incomparable Mariah Carey! I loved how she sang her songs and the depth of meaning they exude, says Lisa Deacon of her idol. Lisa Deacon has had the fortitude and talent to expand her talent base to include becoming an accomplished dancer, developing songwriter, model and an aspiring actress.
