About

Toronto, Ontario, September 2007 - Tiger also known as Armin Sanghera is a simply titled as a musical talent. Doing everything from production, arranging, composing, to even writing. It is hard to believe and at times and quite ironic that this young man was on the verge of going completely def early on in his life.

Born on the luscious coastlines of North America in Vancouver, B.C. Tiger spent his life moving from place to place (Richmond, Surrey, New York, & Connecticut). He currently works and resides in Toronto, ON.

Since a young age Armin has had a passion for music. ?

”I remember trying to stay up late to try to watch MJ (Michael Jackson) ?Video premiers.”

His first encounter with real instruments (non-fisher price) came in elementary school. At first the recorder (woodwind), he was an extraordinarily quick learner so his teachers switched him to flute, oboe, bassoon & even clarinet.

“I really loved playing a real instrument. It gave me such a comforting feeling but my peers made me think it wasn’t a good thing, kind of a waste when I look back cause it was just looked down upon.”

A weak music program in middle school discouraged Tiger even more. However his love for the culture of hiphop was always present. He took up break dancing and continued creating visual masterpieces via spray paint can.

“Being a fat kid breaking wasn’t a good look!”.

Music had nearly completely vanished from his life moving into high school. Looking to fill the void in his life he decided to take up DJ'ing.

“I wasn’t really happy so I thought, hey! might as well try spinnin’ a couple records, cause ya know that was cool with everyone.”

Finding some success he launched a line of bootlegs and mix CDs and getting to play some of the biggest clubs in the city at the age of 16. This had led him to incorporating original music into the bootlegs.

Having to undergo some hardships in school, Armin was expelled. Making unreasonable decisions had lead him, to face a big twisting phase in his life. During that particular break, his musical passion just consumed him.

“I couldn’t take it anymore, so I just downloaded a couple sequencing program demos. I kept it to myself and worked on my craft, and even tried rapping but I sucked so I stuck to making beats”.

He was soon enrolled in another school the following school year but secretly dropped out.

“I dropped out! I got a dope internship at a very large studio (won’t name). I would take the bus to school, to make it look like I was still going to school, hop on another bus and go to the studio and basically be the studio slave. Then I would hop on the bus go back to school to get picked up and still make it look like I was at school.”??He quickly realized that this was something he wanted to devote his life too (music). ?Armin found both friends and family were very unsupportive and encouraged him to stop. Tiger found he needed to expand his horizons on his own. He went out on a job hunt and found his lack of education didn’t leave much open. He settled into the only position he could find, washing dishes at a local restaurant. With that money he purchased his first keyboard. Armin easily became familiar with melodies and started to modify original pieces creating them into original works.

Although Armin already was aware of his passion for music, he now began to see a path form in front of him and he decided he wanted to pursue producing as a career. To gain further knowledge in the field, Armin applied & was accepted to some prestigious music schools. He attended a sound production, audio engineering school which will remain nameless. Again he dropped out due to the lack of actual education and the way things were run.

Along the way he has found some of the top artists in the industry dropping 16’s on his production such as Cuban Link, The Game, Dipset, Mya and many more.

“It has been an honor to work with such visionaries, because they actually let me produce and bring my concepts to life”

Over the following years Tiger has opened up a Graphic Design firm, a publishing company, a film and production house and soon a chain of recording studios.

Tiger’s sound cannot be defined, he is very unique and his sound is ever evolving. Staying 10 steps ahead of himself he ensures his longevity in the industry.
