I've been going through this phase of listening to California Rock groups. I've been super into Counting Crows (a cover of whom may make it's way online soon) and I love the laid back feel of the sound. It's interesting to me how areas are kind of defined by their vibes and then the music that comes from those places reflects it.

I've known this song for a while and was trying to figure out how to record it by myself. And then, my friend and fellow singer/songwriter Lindsey Yung stopped by to rehearse for a show we were playing together and we tried it out for fun. The recording was totally spur-of-the-moment and I wasn't even sure if the camera would even pick us both up. Luckily, I got it and now I get to share it. When we performed this song live, another good friend of ours Jane Lui joined us on the harmonies which was awesome.
