Lindsay May perform a Solo House Concert September 2016 for a happy audience.



“Every guitar slide, breathy harmony and note is Nashville-quality.” Grade A-, the Vancouver Province. Lindsay May is from BC, Canada. An acoustic guitar and mandolin wielding Canadiana songstress, she has been a Kerrville New Folk Finalist, New Mountain Stage Finalist and Vancouver Folk Festival ‘Picking a Folk Star’, Ukelele Song Contest Runner Up. Not only is her songwriting craft top notch, her live performance skills get her asked back to Harmony Arts Festival (five times) and Motown Meltdown (three times) at Vancouver’s legendary Commodore Ballroom. She holds her own on stage as a solo artist or with her great band as displayed when she shared the stage with Folk Legends Valdy, Shari Ulrich and John Gorka.

Lindsay May’s third album, ‘Girl with Grit’ was released in January 2014 and followed by a three month cross Canada tour with a NERFA showcase in New Jersey. She has toured the US, Canada and most recently Germany and the Netherlands making her an international touring artist.
