Live jazz piano trio performance of I Wish I Knew How it Would Feel to be Free composed by the great Billy Taylor and also famously recorded by Nina Simone. From a session at Risley Park Hotel by the Bob Wilson band in front of an enthusiastic audience.
The song first appeared on an album by Billy Taylor and Oliver Nelson titled "Right here right now". It was theme song for Barry Norman's film programme for many years and is an exam piece for ABRSM jazz grade 3.
The trio consisted of Bob Hudson (piano) Nicola Farnon (bass) and Paul Brown (drums).
Bob's major influences are Gene Harris, Erroll Garner, Dudley Moore and , in this performance Ramsey Lewis.

The Bob Hudson trio has accompanied many well known American musicians including Scott Hamilton, Spike Robinson, Harry Allen and Warren Vache and recorded with Roy Williams, John Barnes and Tommy Whittle.
