DESCRIPTION:
Since moving hemispheres it's taken time to become established here in Canberra, Australia, a town I love --family had to come first but now the dust has settled.

I have re-formed Liam McKahey and the Bodies with some of the best musicians I've ever worked with (Niall Howe, John Coates, Jenny Spear and Donovan Gall) and have been busy writing and performing new material that we're all really excited about.

We've spent some time in Broken Knee studio recording an album with the wonderful Bruce Callaway, who formerly played with The Saints.

While the band was able to cover the recording costs, we now need your help to finish over-dubbing, producing and mixing the album. This is going to be done in London by my old friend and a former 'Body', Blair Jollands, who also produced the last album, Lonely Road.
It will cost $7,000.00 to get this stage completed,

In reality we need a total of $15,000.00, which would also cover the costs of mastering, pressing to CD, album artwork and design, album publicity and promotion and a music clip. If we were able to raise that amount through this crowd-funding project it would be a GREAT outcome and would help us to get the music out there to you sooner.

Since recording with my former band Cousteau and the release of my last album Lonely Road, fans have frequently asked me when I will be releasing some new material. It's meant a lot to me that my fans are still so keen to hear my music, and I would love you to come along on this journey with me in completing the new Liam McKahey and The Bodies album.
