Here's a novel little gadget for those of you chasing tonal Nirvana.
This is the Codtone modified version of the "Lofo Mofo" a transistor Radio emulation device- it'll turn your beautiful guitar tone into that of a lousy transistor Radio!
I'll bet that's one sound your Two Rocks/Soldano/Dr Z can't pull!
It slashes the low end, adds cruddy distortion (Broken-ness Control) and considerable Hiss (Noise Floor/Volume Knob)
This classic circuit has been modified to reach above unity gain and smooth the extreme highs, both problems with the original.
The extra gain actually makes for a nasty (in a nice way) treble booster too.
Equally bad (in the Huey Lewis sense) on acoustic guitar!
