Notes from the back cover of this fine old extended play seven-incher:

["HITS FROM BAHAMA HOT SPOTS --

Comprises four of the better-known earthy ballads of Nassau.

This collection represents the artistry of three of the top singers and entertainers in the Bahamas.

All of them have vast and appreciative audiences.

GEORGE SYMONETTE who is without a doubt the leading entertainer in Nassau, does his sly interpretation of the oft-performed 'Big Bamboo,' and the amusing 'Mamma Out De Light.'

ELOISE LEWIS, Nassau's top girl balladeer and musician sings 'The Naughty Flea' in her distinctive, inimitable manner.

HAROLD McNAIR, the young, jazz-calypso afficionado of the islands renders an exciting, driving version of the aptly named 'Drive Her Home.'

These songs and many others of like calibre can be enjoyed nightly at the famous BLACKBEARD'S TAVERN and Nassau harbour's fabulous new rendezvous, the 'JUNKANOO CLUB.'

This original 7-inch EP record album was offered by Bahama Records in 1956, and will forever remain part of my personal collection. I ripped its contents for my enjoyment and created this video hoping to share it with others who appreciate hard-to-find and obscure music. Should the current copyright holders require its removal from this site I will comply.
