MC originario di Nichelino, in provincia di Torino, che vede la luce il 16 Agosto del 1975. Fin da bambino accusa l'appello di una chiamata artistica (dai 10 anni in poi si interessa di grafica e di pittura), ma la passione per l'hip hop arriva intorno agli anni '80. Fa la conoscenza di futuri MCs come Sab Sista e Maury B, ascolta i brani americani che passa il convento ed inizia a rappare in inglese. Inizia a seguire da vicino la scena hip hop torinese, partecipando a feste e traendo insegnamento da quel mondo nuovo e misterioso. Dopo aver conosciuto artisti che l'hip hop lo praticano da tempo, come Next One. Forma il gruppo The Next Diffusion, prodotto da Next One. Lui è Left Side, Maury B si chiama allora Right Voice. Nel 1994 realizzano il singolo "Do The Next Dance", accompagnato da un LP dal titolo "Dritto Dal Cuore", in due dischi. Da quell'anno in poi partecipa ad eventi del calibro dell'Indelebile Hip Hop Convention a Rimini, Hip Hop Village a Torino, Hip Hop Juice ad Ancona, European Hip Hop Meeting a Bruxelles e via dicendo. Nel 1997 sospende i rapporti con il gruppo ed si immerge in un periodo di riflessione. Durante questo priodo collabora ai progetti di Chief & Soci, dei Sottotono e di Neffa e I Messaggeri Della Dopa, con Sano Business all'interno del "Micragnous EP", DJ Enzo, Fritz Da Cat, A.T.P.C., Bassi Maestro e Sab Sista, con la quale condivide una relazione e palcoscenici di tutta Italia. La collaborazione con i Sottotono diventa un vero e proprio sodalizio artistico e discografico: nasce l'Area Cronica, etichetta fondata da questi ultimi, con la quale Left Side inizia a collaborare. Nel 1998 esce l'EP "La Sola Via Che So", seguito nel 1999 da "Una Vita Non Basta".
Dopo una lunga assenza Left Side, o meglio Lefty, è pronto a deliziare il mondo con un nuovo ed esclusivo progetto che vanta speciali produzioni e partecipazioni: "Il mondo dai miei occhi" (Back Movement Records 2009).
Lefty, an emcee originally from Nichelino in the province of Turin, Italy, was born on August 16, 1975. Since a child he's been known to be artistic, becoming interested in drawing and painting around 10 years old. Lefty developed his passion for hip hop in the 1980s, making acquaintances with future emcees like Sab Sista and Maury B. He began listening to American Hip Hop and started learning to rap in English. He began closely following the Turinese hip hop scene, performing and clubs and parties, learning more about this new, mysterious world of hip hop. He and Maury B hooked up with veteran Next One and formed the group The Next Diffusion back when he was better known as Left Side and Maury B as Right Voice.
In 1994 they released the single "Do The Next Dance" off of their debut double album "Straight from the Heart." Following the release of their album they began participating in bigger events including The Indelable Hip Hop Convention in Rimini, Hip Hop Village in Turin, Hip Hop Juice in Ancona, and the European Hip Hop Meeting in Brussels, etc.
The group split up in 1997 for a reflective period of time which gave Lefty the chance to collaborate with artists such as Chief & Soci, Sottotono and Neffe e I Messaggeri Della Dopa on Sano Business from the "Micragnous EP." He also worked with DJ Enzo, Fritz Da Cat, A.T.P.C, Bassi Maestro and Sab Sista, who he frequently shares the Italian stages with. His collaboration with Sottotono proved to be an artistic one, giving birth to the new Record Label The Chronic Area that Lefty then began working with. In 1998 he released the EP "La Sola Via Che So" (The Only Way I Know), following it up in 1999 with "Una Vita Non Basta" (One Life Is Not Enough).
After a long absence, Left Side, better known now as Lefty is back and ready to delight the hip hop world with his latest project "Il mondo dai miei occhi" (The World From My Eyes - Back Movement Records 2009), containing special guest appearances and producers.
