With Lynn Miles' Songwriting Camp starting Nov. 16th, we thought it'd be neat to talk to some local musicians about their approach to songwriting.

The latest OFC Songwriter Profile features Lefty McRighty. Lefty's been performing locally mostly, and on the road whenever someone'll have him and has only been blacklisted from three Ottawa clubs so far. His brand of music: irreverent old-time country and western. In April 2012, Lefty released his sophomore album "Nashville Roadkille". Recorded and produced at TenVolt Audio, this 12 song opus features insta-classics such as "There's No Cold Beer in Hell", "Blood Flows Quicker Than Gravy" (about the great poutine war of '54), and "Too Late To Quit Drinking Now".
