LeftCoast's first single, Shining, off their debut album of the same name.

LeftCoast is a five piece Vancouver based band. They believe in versatility and are able to draw from their unique musicality to provide a sound you won't find anywhere else.

With a lifetime of professional music experience between them, the five members of LeftCoast have seasoned backgrounds in delivering a connoisseur’s blend of sonic harmonious magic. Administering a funky mix of analogue keyboard loops, rich and soulful vocals, bass wizardry, brazen sax licks and fresh drum beats, LeftCoast brings a youthful, yet old school funk image and energy. This collection of pros are influenced by the grooves of Chaka Khan, Joss Stone, Roy Ayers, Bill Withers and the like, as well as giving a healthy nod to the eras of cool jazz and bossa nova. LeftCoast weaves their own version of funk and soul with hints of jazz into their own original sound.
