Leah Kaire

Leah is a multi-faceted performer who has been on stage since the age two. This singer song writer has a lot to bring to the table. One of her major assets is her ability to just get on the mic and improvise over any style music and in any of her languages. Born in Venezuela, brought up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil lived and performed in 13 countries, from Brazil to Japan. She is a global artist that can sing in English, Portuguese, French, Spanish, and Italian. She's on fire when she's on stage, not only can she sing she can dance up a storm and her looks go without saying shes a foxy little lady.



From the age of 16 Leah started singing on House Records in Switzerlandwith a soulful raspy energetic voiceLater she moved to London, her first record with DJ Ray Keith made a hit in the Drum and Bass seen, "Something Out There" in 1997. That summer she sang live on Genevas first Lake Parade live on One FM, which is a smaller version of the Love Parade in Berlin. Back in London her band Higher with former Lauren Hills bass player Julious Boones, performing everywhere including the Jazz Café. Higher was a Jazz Funk Trip Hop band. She continued on the house trip in Europe. Later she moved to Miami a few years ago, and since has been recording at Bob Marleys, Nine Miles Records. Leah harmonizes and sings back up for Cedella Marley Booker and Richard Marley. She also is a session singer for various recording artist. She too is recording her album in between Miamis Nine Miles studio and Stus studio in London, England, along with other Producers such as Coy Paez and Carlos de Yarsa. Leah has also worked with artist such as Jose Elias who's band, Conjunto Progresso, was nomineed at this years Grammy Awards. Her style is a funkadelic soulful and jazzy, full of dance and sound.
