The Helix is a true bypass, stereo, multi-function phaser with four linear controls and two modes - vintage and smooth. It sounds phenomenal in both modes (vintage slightly grainy and old-school; smooth a little more 'formant-based' and funky). Toneprint capability is the big plus here with dozens of custom patches already on offer and super easy to install into the pedal. I've demoed the Helix in stereo to show its full potential but it sounds just as glorious in mono. In short, the Helix is a very high quality and ultra versatile phaser that I would advise you to investigate if you're in the market for this classic effect.
