Artwork Design : Sam Well
For his last single "The Tribal Zone", produced by United Music Records, Hallex.M commissioned Sam Well to design the artwork for the cover. Sam was inspired by Keith Haring's "dancing people" and by the tribal an instinctual art of Jean Michel Basquiat. These New York-based artists are pioneers in fusing together pictorial African images with urban art. "The Tribal Zone" pays homage to the avant-garde House music movement, partly tribal, partly urban, found in New York. This movement of music evokes the tribal side which lives in all of us.
