The show stopping duo out of Oklahoma City, Laura Leighe is exciting fans all over the nation. With the combination of keys player Laura Leighe Gossett's sweet and soulful vocals and drummer Zach Dumbleton's complex and mesmerizing retro-punk playing style, Laura Leighe defines the new wave in pop music.
Growing up singing and dreaming of the day she could share her passion with the world Laura's first break began in 2007 when she caught the attention of FOX's American Idol. Her training, personal drive and sheer talent ended up advancing Laura to become a Hollywood finalist. This experience launched her career to exciting new levels.
Laura released her first solo album in 2009, entitled "Unreal" under the name Laura Gossett. It is often linked to artists such as Vanessa Carlton, Sara Bareilles, Erin McCarley and Kelly Clarkson. This release allowed her to tour the country playing legendary venues such as The Viper Room, The Whiskey a Go Go and Oklahoma's Chesapeake Energy Arena. In this she was honored to share the stage with artists such as Maggie Mcclure, Between the Trees, Vince Gill, Toby Keith, Ty England, Steven Curtis Chapman, Phil Joel, Jars of Clay, Nevertheless, Natalie Grant, Third Day and many more.
Zach Dumbleton joined forces with Laura in Winter of 2011 after having been professionally touring throughout the past decade. Most recently Zach has been working with the Oklahoma native rock band Theatre Breaks Loose. On stage his style mixes with his talent to create an unmistakable barrage of powerful rhythms and subtle nuances. Zach's drumming prowess has brought him to play along side bands like 3OH!3, Mayday Parade, We The Kings, Greyson Chance and EVE6 to name a few.
