Laura Fowles, internationally known as "The Lovely Laura" is without doubt the clubbing world's leading saxophonist.
And it does not stop there. She is also an extremely talented jazz singer/songwriter.

After being invited to support Take That alongside Sophie Ellis-Bextor and also winning ITV Yorkshire's very own Calendar's Got Talent, the British saxophonist, singer-songwriter Laura Fowles (aka The Lovely Laura) has since been working hard in the studio recording her latest soulful jazz album, aptly named 'Off The Ground'.

"I'm so inspired right now", says Laura. "Since the tour, I've been really busy writing with my pianist Wayne Pollock [Corinne Bailey Rae] and I'm buzzing from the energy we have created together in the studio. Fortunately the band who I tour with are absolutely amazing and we are all extremely passionate about what we do."

Aside from this Laura has an exceptionally busy schedule touring the world under the name of The Lovely Laura, playing for the phenomenally successful label Hed Kandi. She has secured her place as clubland's most in demand saxophonist, working alongside the premier league of DJ's and producers, entertaining thousands in the world's most prestigous venues. She will once again be based in Ibiza this summer, entertaining the masses across the hedonistic Balearic island, famed for leading the way when it comes to house music.

Her ability to send any crowd into a frenzy is the reason her diary is always so busy and if you have not yet had the pleasure of witnessing this, you only have to look at her fans' comments to get an idea of what she is capable of.

Loved by many and even imitated by some, she is undoubtedly an inspiration to everyone that sees her which explains why The Lovely Laura is so dearly loved!

To finish off her already hectic schedule, Laura has also featured alongside dj, writer and producer Kato to deliver some seriously spine-tingling vocals for the critically acclaimed album 'Coming Clean' from The 39 Steps which is due for release on Bad Sneakers label in April 2009.

With so much going on in Laura's wide spanning career, coupled with her driving ambition and immense passion for music, she is certain to be catapulted into becoming the hot property that she both deserves and is destined for.
