Laura Brunner is a unique vocalist, songwriter and composer. A sophisticated and clear sound, the Ohio-native can be seen performing around New York City. In this clip, she tackles the George Duke tune "Someday" with her partner in crime on many a gig, Camila Meza on guitar and backing vocals. The song might be familiar in that it was recently sampled by Common on "Break My Heart". Brunner recently placed as first-runner up in the prestigious 2012 Jazzmobile Vocal Competition. She is currently working on her album.
