DESCRIPTION:
Grand Cafe based in Oslo, Norway released the critically acclaimed album, Put a little grease on my axe in 2008. Followed up by a big tour in Norway, with packed clubs all over.
Later that year they also released a seven inch with concert friendly songs as Let Loose and Makin Out. The 7 inch also got great reviews in Norway as well as in the rest of Europe.
Grand Cafe´s goal is to do the best show they possibly can every night, giving them the credit of being on of Norways greatest live bands.

Grand Cafe is based around the songs of singer and guitarist Christer Krogh. On Put a little grease on my axe, the soulful music from the early seventies was the biggest inspiration. On the forthcoming EP and album he takes us into a lot darker area, with songs about death, sorrow and love. Grand Cafe´have worked with producer Lars Voldsdal (Madrugada, Turbonegro and Taking Back Sunday) for over two years with this album. And the EP will be released as the first single from the album in May. The full lenght album will be released in the fall of 2011.
