A Laranja Freak é uma banda psicodélica de Porto Alegre, Brasil. Surgiu no ano de 1997 e faz o que chama de "Música Psicodélica Frenética", fazendo um misto entre a Jovem Guarda, psicodelia e rock. É composta por Ricardo Farfisa (voz, teclado e guitarra), Evandro Martins (baixo), Miro Rasolini (bateria), Grazi Rodrigues (voz) e Alexandre Abreu (guitarra).
Realizou vários shows dentro e fora do estado, participando de festivais como O Bananada(GO), Senhor F Festival(SC e RS), 25 Anos de Baratos Afins (SP), Cabron Festival(SC), Super Noites Senhor F (DF), Gig Rock Porto Alegre (RS), entre outros.
Lançou os EPs "Música Psicodélica Frenética" (2001- Independente), "Entre as Moléculas" (2002 - Migué Records) e o CD "Brasas Lisérgicas" (2004 - Baratos Afins). Também participou das coletâneas "Brazilian Peebles II" (2002 - Baratos Afins), "Ainda Somos Inúteis! Um Tributo ao Ultraje a Rigor" (2005 - Monstro Discos), "Clássicos da Noite Senhor F" (2005 - Senhor F Discos) e "Eu Não Sou Cachorro Mesmo" (2007 - Allegro Discos).

Laranja Freak is a psychedelic band of Porto Alegre, Brazil. It appeared in the year of 1997 and makes what it calls "Frantic Psychedelic Music", making a compound between the Jovem Guarda, psychedelia and rock. The band is Ricardo Farfisa (voice, keyboards and acoustic guitar), Evandro Martins (bass guitar), Miro Rasolini (bateria), Grazi Rodrigues (voice) e Alexandre Abreu (guitar).
Laranja Freak made some presentations, inside and outside of its state, participating of festivals as Bananada (GO), Senhor F Festival (SC and RS), 25 Anos de Baratos Afins (SP), Cabron Festival (SC), Super Noites Senhor F (DF), Gig Porto Alegre Rock (RS), among others.
Launched the EPs "Música Psicodélica Frenética" (2001- Independent), "Entre as Moléculas" (2002 - Migué Records) and the CD "Brasas Lisérgicas" (2004 Baratos Afins), that it concurred for the Dynamite/Claro prize of better album of 2004 rock. Also it participated of the coletâneas "Brazilian Peebles II" (2002 - Baratos Afins), launched in Brazil and in Japan, "Ainda Somos Inúteis! Um Tributo ao Ultraje a Rigor" (2005 - Monstro Discos), "Clássicos da Noite Senhor F" (2005 - Senhor F Discos) e "Eu Não Sou Cachorro Mesmo" (2007 - Allegro Discos). It still participated of the soundtrack of the short movies "A Sopa" (2003) and "Veludos e Cacos de Vidro" (2004), of Marco Martins, with the song Sempre Livre.
