DESCRIPTION:
This ballad is on heavy rotation (A listed) at Norway's no. 1 radio station, NRK P1, from Dec. 29., 2008. The video is made by Nils Gullsvåg / Vega Media AS, and was recorded on impulse in (very) early morning hours after a late concert at Folkets Hus on the island Vega i Nordland, Norway. The Vega concert and video session turned out to be Ken-Børre's very last performance with Ni liv.

Merkeband is single no. 3 from Ni liv's album Sjumilsteg (Telemarkana Records, Oct. 13.2008). Also the previous singles from the album made well: "det var den gong" got A rotation on NRK P1, 4 weeks on national radio hit show "Norsktoppen" (best no. 3) and 5 weeks on the radio playtime list "Hit 40" (best no. 17). Single no. 2, "Tjønnimellom", made it to P1's B rotation list.
