SPIN MAGAZINE Sept. 2006 issue featured an article SPIN 101 Best Nights Out which named "The Lance Diamond Show" at the Elmwood Lounge one of the top 101 places in the United States to go for live entertainment.

Entertainer & Showman Lance Diamond is a legend in Western New York. Lance has one thing on his mind, and that is to entertain beyond the best of his ability. he engages his audience like no other. His shows are highly charged non-stop motion, his golden voice and platinum wardrobe have won him a devoted following of which he so lovingly refers to as his family. People travel miles to be taken in by the warmth and the style of the Buffalo original. Lance has entertained in every major club in the WNY, toured the world, USO Tours - entertaining Troops, featured at Buffalo's Thursday in the Square Concerts, of which he has been the only entertainer to end the season six years in a row and has drawn crowds of up to 40,000, The New Years Eve Ball Drop, The Seneca Niagara Casino, and countless others. Lance has recorded his own hit CD "GOLD" in 2002, "A Lance Diamond Christmas" in 2003 and is currently in the studio working on his next release "Lancification"Lance has opened shows for numerous entertainers. He recorded "Down on the Corner" and "Never Take The Place of Your man" with the Goo Goo Dolls fro Metal Blade, Warner Brothers Records. In 1995, Lance was featured on MTV with the Goo Goo Dolls to raise AIDS Awareness for the No Alternative Album, along with the Soul Asylum and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, performing the Rolling Stone's classic: "Bitch". This song has made an appearance online and in chat rooms all over the world.Lance Diamond has received numerous awards and accommodations. Among them are 2009 Legends Award 2009 Radio Personality- Entertainer of the Year 2009 Artvoice Best Weekly Live Act 2006 & 2008 & 2009 Time Warner commercials 2007 Spin Magazine 101 Top Shows on a Saturday Night Top Male Entertainer Entertainer of the Year Male vocalist runner-Up Al Tinney Award for Outstanding Achievement Inducted into The Buffalo Music Hall of fame November 23, 1992 The Buffalo Common Council declared this day "Lance Diamond Day" for his dedication to entertaining his audiences.
