With powerful lyrics and a unique voice that draws comparisons to Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey, Johanna has worked with Lauryn Hill, Queen Latifah, the Harlem Boys Choir, Bobby McFerrin and more since beginning her music career at Harvard University.
Her debut album, "GENERATE", featured the UK hit single “Long Gone” and garnered a coveted John Lennon Songwriting Award, to high praise from R&B critics and fans alike. Now, Johanna returns from a 3-year hiatus with guitar in hand and a brand new sound. "To share music for music's sake; that's what I want now. The fame game is over, and I've never felt freer.
