Kuya Productions is an award winning Canadian production duo consisting of Sammy Blues and Bobby Brass who are based in Toronto. They are known for their oustanding work in R&B, Pop and HipHop. They are signed to EMI Publishing in LA through Big Jon Platt and are a multi platinum grammy nominated production/songwriting team.
Sammy first big break was as an actor/singer and dancer in the Broadway Musical Miss Saigon. Bobby followed him to NY shortly after finishing up school in music production. There they developed their craft as songwriters and producers.
Kuya Productions first #1 singles we're Get Ready and SHOOK for canadian artist Shawn Desman . In 2004 they had produced on two U.S. Top 10 albums including the No.1 Grammy nominated Album SUIT for hip hop artist NELLY as well as Mase's Welcome Back album. Both would do extremely well with Nelly reaching 3 million in sales world wide(3x platinum) and Mase going gold (500 000 units).

Official releases include Jesse McCartney, Kandi Burruss, Big Time Rush and Slim of 112 among others. 2009 was devoted to developing and recording their new R&B artist JRDN. 2010 was a breakout year for their artist JRDN with his Top 10 Single U Can Have it All reaching gold status. Kuya also produced Girlicious 3rd Single 2 In The Morning which was also big at Top 40.
