THE GLORIA PROJECT-LEHIGH VALLEY MUSIC AWARDS 12 Part 1 - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 06, 2010
DESCRIPTION:
A surprise honor for Gloria Domina, Director of the Lehigh Valley Music Awards for her unending and glorious support of the musicians and artists of the Lehigh Valley. The band, The Gloria Project, performed at the Lehigh Valley Music Awards in Allentown, Pa. The performance was part of a project that was put together as a way to say thanks, and to honor Gloria Domina - who has done so much for the Lehigh Valley and many communities throughout PA.
The project itself was designed as a vehicle to give back to the community through the non-profit organization- Women in Art in Pennsylvania; which Gloria founded and directs.

Women in Art brings awareness about domestic abuse and women's health issues, they give to the local food banks and shelters, and they aid other area non-profit organizations to help build a better community, all while spotlighting, encouraging and instructing in the arts. They have done this for nearly ten years through fund raising, art sales, and donations.

The Benefit Project Band, several other musicians and industry professionals came together, and the result is a wonderful 6 track EP now available on cd.

All proceeds from the sale of "Wildflower" will go directly to support the efforts of Women in Art in Pennsylvania. Please contact Mona Rodriguez to purchase a CD or make a donation her web site is http://www.monarodriguez.com/Home_Page.php.
