DESCRIPTION:
Alan Akaka is the Director of Ke Kula Mele Hawaii / School of Hawaiian Music. Alan began his music career in high school and enjoys a successful career in music and education. He taught at various intermediate, High School, and a University Lab School. He was also the director of the Performing Arts Academy at Kamehameha and president of the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Association. He leads the Steel Guitar Festivals on Hawaii where this is the 6th Annual Waikiki Steel Guitar Festival, 18 Jul 2015, Honolulu, Hawaii. This is the 1st song in his set for this festival.
