Alabama Music Office.com goes to Kentuck Park in Northport, Alabama to attend a performance by Kristin Diable at Kentuck Festival of the Arts 2015. This is an annual event that happens the 3rd Saturday and Sunday of October.
New Orleans may not generally be known for singer-songwriters, but Kristin Diable’s changing that. Though her cell’s area code is still Manhattan, her heart is all New Orleans. The proof’s in her actions: In 2012, she had a once-in-a-lifetime offer from The Voice. She chose to move back to her native Louisiana, settling in New Orleans and playing six shows a week.

She recorded her newest LP, Create Your Own Mythology, in Nashville with producer Dave Cobb—the same Cobb who produced Jason Isbell’s and Sturgill Simpson’s latest records.
