A head-on car crash in 2012 left Doug Wright crippled for life. Clyde Rowley, the man who caused the collision, walked away with cuts and bruises.

In the years that followed, it became clear that their lives would never be the same. Despite years of arduous recovery and a breakdown in his marriage, Doug developed a new lease on life. Positivity and persistence became his mantras. Clyde however, found himself swallowed in a bottomless pit of guilt and depression.

After years of knowing of the other's existence but refusing to acknowledge it, the two agreed to meet.
