Kozma Orsi x TEJ exclusively on Balcony Tv Budapest

The exclusive performance of Orsi Kozma and the band called TEJ is the first time but not the last.A band and a soloist from different part of music scene meet on a rooftop of Budapest.

Orsi Kozma is one of the most multi-facetes and all-round young Hungarian female singer who has a unique voice and a musical world far beyond her age. Orsu has been popular and recognised in the music field for more than 15 years and during this time she has contributed to over 100 albums, she sang great many hit songs with several formations and music groups, played a fair number of main parts in musicals, appeard on stage in clubs,festivals, events in Hungary and all over Europe.

Orsi Kozma was born on 2nd October 1976 in Budapest. As a young girl she sang in the Choir of the Hungarian State Radio and after completing high school she was preparing to become an actreyd, studying stage arts in the studio of Maria Toldy.
She debuted on stage in the Operett Theatre as Eva of the play Somewhere in Europe, later she played in the musical Jungle Boom in Székesfehérvár. In Eger she played in The Beggar's Opera by Bertold Brecht, she also took part in Űrzrínyiász at TÁP Theatre.The singer had a national popularity beginning from het contribution to Jazz+At. She became a member of Citton Club Singers from 2002. She met Krisztian Szakos in 2005 and together they made her solo album called Egy szó ( One Word). Orsi left the vocal group on order to focus on her solo career.

Her second album was released in 2007 called Az igazi szerep ( True Role). Orsi has been collaborating eith such musicians as Gabor Presser, Lászlo Tolcsvay, lászló Dés, Péter Geszti, Péter Novák, Tony Lakatos, Vince Mai, Rob van de Wouw, Krystof Scieranski, the 9:30 Collective, or eat me! among others.

The Kozma Orsi Quartet was created in 208 to make the range of musical genres even more colourful. The band released their first album the sane year 'Hide and seek' which immediately got nominated for Fonogram award. The album was also published in Japan. Orsi won the Jazzy song contest's first prize and at the Fringe Festival of Pécs it received the prifessional award in 2010.

Orsi now teams up with singer,songwriter, lyricist, and producer Tomi Pálinkás who is well-known as frontman in Isten Háta Mögött(1999-2015) or TEJ.Besides that he is the cooproducer of all the albums by Blind Myself written in hungarian.TEJ was formed in 2012 as an alternative pop band. Its first song called Átlag éjjel brought a nomination of VIVA Comet. MR2Petőfi radio station still plays songs from TEJ. Further contributions:
