DESCRIPTION:
First song after a long hiatus. Recently moved and in doing so had to become re-accustomed to the process of recording these videos. Updates will be more frequent as I become more comfortable with the new equipment as well.

A solo acoustic fingerstyle arrangement of Colbie Caillat's "I Do". The arrangement is fairly straight forward, minimal changes to the notes/chord progression, mostly just the dynamics. I did however use a chord substitution (or extension) by using a triad within the extensions of a Dm9 rather than Dm during the verse. Dynamics are altered to begin soft/slow then gain speed and volume towards the middle, and then return to a softer/slower feeling towards the end.

Disclaimer: What you are seeing is a video of the bulk of the recording process, of course I'm going to add in a few seconds of overdubs on any sour or wrong notes, but none of that should total for more than 10 seconds or so cumulative (as I'm not a good one-taker) in these songs.
