DESCRIPTION:
The Haydn Quartet consisted of John Bieling (first tenor), Harry Macdonough (lead tenor), S. H. Dudley (baritone) and William F. Hooley (bass). They started recording for Edison as The Edison Quartet, but also made records for Victor and Berliner Gramophone under the pseudonym The Haydn Quartet. This tune was written during the Civil War by Walter Kittredge.
