A Song for Hymn - Christine Rosemond - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 25, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
One day while pottering in the kitchen, making the tea for my little family, I began humming a tune, before I knew it this little hymn was born. This one's for Him. Below are the verses of scripture that inspired the lyrics.

"Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Saviour" Habakkuk 3:17-18
"When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: "Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!" Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!" "I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."" Luke 19:37-40
"'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven" Matthew 24:29-30
