At the age of fourteen, Universal Music offered her a record contract which made her the 'youngest female artist ever' on Verve. In the mean time, she grows into a singer who writes all her songs by herself and manages to get musical giants like Prince-keyboard player Chance Howard, Candy Dulfer, Trijntje Oosterhuis and Perquisite to perform with her on her second CD "My Recipe For A Happe Life" , also on Verve.
In 2010 she travels to the USA where she is invited by Raul Midón to work with him on a new album which is expected to come out in 2013.
In the same year Kim visits singer Catherine Russel in New York, for the preparation of a tour with The Houdini's featuring Peggy Lee's repertoire. After this successful tour Kim is offered a contract with Challenge Records. Her new CD "Why Don't You Do Right", with songs by Peggy Lee is released September 2, 2011
