This was the sideline camera intended to just capture snippets of the show for marketing/recruiting - this video was never intended to be viewed as a whole -- so there is a lot of sudden panning and zooming.It was also the very first time I shot in HD - a large Panasonic shoulder-mount monster.

It was the day after this show that Scott Stewart, retired director of The Madison Scouts, took the helm of the Kilties as new Director, and we worked very hard to fix this show, placing 15th at DCA Open Class Prelims. The next five years saw substantial improvement, highlighted by a 9th place finish at DCA Finals in 2011.

Another, historical note, is that this is at Historic Horlick Field, and the home (West) grandstands were torn down for renovations (you can see the pressbox remaining, awkwardly) and the Kilties had been assured that the new stadium seats would be in place in time for The Kiltie Klassic. They were not. So this show was performed to the much lower capacity Visitor's Side.
