DESCRIPTION:
This is the official video release of "17 Scars" by Killing Grace.

Nashville, TN – Killing Grace is proud to announce the release of the official video for the current single release, “17 Scars”, from their self-titled debut.

“17 Scars” is loosely based on the life of the Matt’s (lead vocalist and band’s front-man) Dad (Bill Edmondson). It follows his life from a small boy and shows the passages of time and acquiring of ‘scars’, so to speak, along the way. These ‘scars’ might exist physically as well, but they are meant to be more metaphorical in the sense that we ALL gain our own ‘scars’ as we go through our lives.

The video is also entwined with footage of the band (listed below) performing the song in the dark, amidst a fire pit; this includes a ‘fiery’ guitar solo from Colt Hendricks (lead guitarist). The video also includes ethereal images of Pamela Gentry, who provided the backing vocals on the original album track.

The band is:
Matthew Dee Edmondson – Lead Vocals
Brandon Bell – Rhythm Guitar / BGV
Colt Hendricks – Lead Guitar / BGV
Chad Grant – Bass
Rob McKee – Drums

This production was done completely in-house. Camera work was provided by Tommy Morris, Laurie Grant, and Darrell Close. Arbor Barrow assisted with logistics and story-boarding the script and shots. The ‘young boy’ was played by David Sisco. ‘Army-aged’ man was played by Bryan Capotosti. The ‘middle-aged’ man was the band’s bassist, Chad Grant. Bill Edmondson played himself. Final composition and editing was done by Chad Grant. All footage (except for the ‘middle-aged’ shots) was shot on-location in Clarksville, TN. The ‘middle-aged’ shots were on-location in Murfreesboro, TN.
