Foi em 1996 que Kika Lewis com apenas 11 anos iniciou a sua carreira de dj.
Nesta altura era provavelmente a dj feminina mais nova a nível nacional.
A sua graciosidade e simpatia e uma considerável evolução técnica, fizeram com que ganhasse uma reputação que lhe permite inscrever se no grupo das melhores djs portuguesas.
Kika Lewis faz um trabalho abrangente, tendo em conta a satisfação do público, desde géneros mais suaves e cantados até ao progressive e eletrónica.
Kika, juntamente com o dj/produtor Pedro Carrilho, fizeram um remix para os L&M Connection (Luis Leite e Zé Mig - L) no tema "Jungle Urbano".
Kika vê assim o seu tema a ser editado no mês de Outubro/06 pela Magnarecordings.
KIKA está neste momento em estúdio para realizar mais trabalhos. Com a produção e trabalho desempenhado ao longo do tempo, Kika vê o seu esforço a ser reconhecido internacionalmente, estando no continente Africano, em Luanda (Beach Club); Polonia (Cinnamon Club,La Playa Club) , Suiça (Queen's CLub, Club.Pt, Living Room, Moa Club, Para club), Moscovo (Pacha Moscow) e vai estar dentro em breve em alguns paises Europeus.
Kika ganhou recentemente um dos prémios mais importantes na carreira de um dj, MELHOR DJ NACIONAL FEMININO'08 pela The Famous Grouse & Noite.Pt.
Em 2009, Kika Lewis é convidada pela MAXMEN ( uma das mais prestigiadas revistas masculinas portuguesas), para uma sessão e entrevista especial. Ela foi também eleita para ser a dj oficial da MAXMEN BEACH SESSIONS num dos melhores espaços de Verão, Sasha Summer Sessions no Algarve.
Kika é novamente nomeada pela Revista NOITE.PT para o prémio da categoria de MELHOR DJ FEMININO NACIONAL'10.
Kika Lewis é convidada pela Revista DANCE CLUB, a revista de referência de música electrónica em Portugal, para editar a compilação, DANCE CLUB SESSIONS #11, em Julho de 2010.
Kika Lewis, ganha em 2010, pelo 2º ano consecutivo o prémio de Melhor DJ FEMININO NACIONAL, atribuído pela revista NOITE.PT.

Kika Lewis was only 11 years old, when she started her career, back in 1996.
Probably the youngest female portuguese dj ever.
Her sympathy and gracefulness, as well as a considerable technical evolution, led to a reputation that allows Kika to be among the best portuguese djs.
With her acquired experience through the last fourteen years, Kika Lewis does an embracing work, which differs from softer and sung genres to progressive and electronic music, but always regarding the interests of the audience.
Kika Lewis and the dj/producer Pedro Carrilho, remixed the theme "Jungle Urbano" by L&M Connection (Luis Leite and Zé Mig - L). So, in October 2006, Kika's first theme is released by Magna Recordings.
Presently, Kika Lewis is dedicating more time to the studio, developing new sounds. Her hard work and dedication opened frontiers as international recognition blossomed. Beach Club (Angola), CInnamon Club and La Playa Club (Poland), Queen's Club, Club.PT, Living Room, Moa Club and Para Club (Switzerland), Pacha Moscow (Russia), Eden Club Ibiza (Spain), are some of the clubs around the world where she has played. As Kika won the 2008 Best National Female DJ award, she was invited for a special photo session and interview by MAXMEN (one of the most prestigious magazines for men). She was elected to be the official Maxmen Beach Sessions Dj, in one of the most trendy summer clubs - Sasha Summer Sessions in Algarve.
DANCE CLUB magazine, the number one electronic music magazine in Portugal, invites Kika to edit a compilation DANCE CLUB SESSIONS #11, released in July 2010.
In 2010 Kika Lewis won for the 2nd time, consecutively, the category of Best National Female Dj, elected by a vast audience of thousands of online voters. NOITE.PT is responsible for these awards.
A solid career counting 14 years already.
