DESCRIPTION:
Here's a tribute to one of my all-time favourite bands, Steely Dan. The original drum track was played by the legendary Bernard "Pretty" Purdie. This cover version is mostly Purdie inspired added with some different fills. I have seen Steely Dan 5 times so far, once with Ricky Lawson R.I.P. and 4x with Keith Carlock. Last time was in Beacon Theatre NYC 2018 and it was a pleasure to see them play the whole Royal Scam and Nightfly albums :)
The gear in this video are Brady Spotted Gum drums (10,12,14,22), 14x6,5 Jarrah Ply snare and Zildjian cymbals.
No edits in this video, just live drums. I'm available for online recording with these drums and microphones.
