Gerry Grimaud Jr. aka “ Bombin Gerry” , born in New Jersey who began his career as a musician (guitarist) in his early teen years to then have his Engineering career take a launch in 1994. He has had live performances at Madison Square Garden along side several major Latin Pop Artist such as Enrique Iglesias, Franco Devita, Carlos Ponce, Ricardo Montaner just to name a few. Gerry still continues to pursue this field, presently he fully engineered and Co-Produced the latest album for Latin World Renowned Bachata/Pop Group“ AVENTURA”

As a Producer/ Musician /Sound Engineer, Gerry has worked at several recording studios, but is based out of the legendary“ Skylight Recording” in New Jersey, he currently has his own Production Company “ Kickback Productions and Recording Studios”.“ Bombin Gerry” has accumulated thousands of studio hours while working along side Grammy winning Engineers such as: Guido Diaz and John Diaz (owners of Skylight Recording Studios and Engineers for Celia Cruz, Jose Alberto“ El Canario”, La India and many more) also worked in conjunction with Mauricio Guerrero, Engineer for Capitol Records L.A. (Gloria Estefan/Emilio Estefan, Phil Collins, Shakira“ Shakira Unplugged”, Luis Miguel “ Romances”), on EMI Mexico Projects.



Within the past 13 yrs. Gerry has had the opportunity to work professionally with major international record labels such as Sony, Universal, Machete Music, EMI (USA/Mexico), Obligado Music Group (USA/Uruguay S.A), and Premium Latin.



He has taken master courses along side multi platinum award winning Engineers/Mixers/Producers such as: Charles Dye (Ricky Martin, Lauren Hill, Thalia, Jon Bon Jovi, Julio Iglesias). Also with: Roger Nichols (Gloria Estefan, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys, just to name a few).



As a veteran Pro Tools user, he has recorded, mixed, and produced almost every album he has worked on in the last 7 yrs. completely on the system. Although from time to time Gerry uses analog large format consoles/tapes to add that warm large sound he’s become known for in the industry.



In the past 3yrs. Gerry has worked in the studio with various artist such as: World Renowned Hip-Hop Violinist “ Marie Ben Ari” (Kanye West, Jay Z, John Legend, Don Omar). Wisin Y Yandel, Jose Alberto“ El Canario”, Frankie J, Don Omar, LuneyTunes, Scram Jones (P. Diddy, Mariah Carey, Maxx Agende), to name a few. He also worked on the production of Thalia’s 2007 hit “ No No No” feat. Romeo (Premio Lo Nuestro Award for Best Latin Pop song of the year 2007). Musically Produced/Recorded/Mixed Aventura’s “ Los Infieles” R&B Remix feat. Frankie J.

Gerry has just finished mixing 4 new tracks off Don Omar's new CD to come out in November 2007 "King of King's Live" & is Producing/Mixing projects for Benjamin Records Inc (Luny Tunes).
