If you're right and there's no God I guess we'll all know before too long
If there's nothing to believe in after we're gone
If you're right I'll eat my words and you can disregard this song
But I'd hate to be in your shoes when you find out that you're wrong

When did evolution stop cause fish still swim in the sea
And the last time that I checked apes still lived in trees
They're not our distant cousins and I don't care what you say
A giraffe's neck is long because God made it that way

It doesn't take a genius to know there's more than this
But I put my faith in the word of God not in scientist
Now there's nothing wrong with science there's too much good to list
But you can stop trying to teach my kids to become an atheist
