Kevin Ceballo was discovered by world-renowned pianist and producer Isidro Infante. Kevin began his recording career in 1999 when he was signed to RMM Records. At the beginning of his career, Kevin was featured as a back up vocal on La India's Grammy nominated albums, Sobre El Fuego and Sola. He continued working with Maestro Infante while also lending his vocal style to studio projects for Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Eddie Palmieri and various others. Kevin has performed at many live engagements with stars such as Marc Anthony and La India. He has also co-headlined prestigious events in New York, Washington, D.C., Boston, Orlando and Miami with La India, Huey Dunbar, Victor Manuelle and many others. Kevin's solo debut album, "Mi Primer Amor", was released by RMM Records on September 2000 and immediately made its mark on the Latin music scene. The single, named after the albums title, skyrocketed to the top of the Tropical Charts of Radio & Musica, where it remained for an astonishing seven consecutive weeks. On Dec. 23, 2000, it was Billboards Greatest Gainer of the week and Latin Top 50, where it reached Position 16. On Feb., 08, 2001, Kevin Ceballo was awarded the Revelación del Año - Best New Artist - at the 2001 Univision Premio lo Nuestro in Miami. Kevin then recorded the mega hit, "Mi Primer Amor", in English, "My First Love". Once again it escalated to the 1 position on WKTU 103.5 top ten list and remained there for several weeks in 2002. In 2003, Kevin starred in a Broadway musical revue, The Look of Love. He was part of an ensemble cast interpreting the music of the legendary Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Kevin was the lead tenor in the Musical, which played at the Atkinson Theater in New York and remained on for a six month run. In May 2003, Kevin released his long awaited second CD production, "Yo Soy Ese Hombre". The album, needless to say, was a huge hit. Not only did it reach the top of the Latin Charts in radio play, sales and club play, it signaled the world that Kevin Ceballo is a not only an accomplished musician, songwriter and singer, but the new emerging and promising young star much needed in the industry. Kevin's hit single, "Amame o Dejame", reached 1 in several markets such as Miami, Philadelphia, D.C., Puerto Rico, and of course, New York. Kevin's fan base is incredible and includes an online fan club. The second single of the production, "Tu Volveras", also gained Kevin, the recognition and support of his fans and received great rotation in the Tropical Genre Radio stations in the Country, reaching the 5 position.
