I was blessed with the opportunity to perform my new single during an event hosted by my University on Feb. 20th as a part of the DePaul Gospel Choir. I gave my testimony before I sang but unfortunately it didn't get recorded..
My Testimony: I wrote this song based on my personal experience. This song is about a failed relationship, giving my virginity to someone who soon after claimed they weren't ready to be with me but instead, got into a new relationship in the same year we separated. My heart literally landed on "concrete." But through forgiveness and re-dedicating my life to Christ, I overcame! I learned my worth and He will never let me fall. ♥ His love for me is CONCRETE and it will never change, never leave, or give up on me! I want to thank God for allowing me to go through such a painful situation that ultimately worked for my good and for His glory!!!! The MAIN POINT of the song is to touch hearts and transform lives through the lyrics, especially the lives of young women who have been through similar situations & don't know they are Queens made in the image of God. We are to be loved and cherished, not taken advantage of. God bless you all.
