Ever Since Tamarind Seed Sessions Started the number one question has been "Why the name Tamarind seed"

The Answer

A Rapso Artist and CU designer who shall remain nameless, invested in a home recording studio so that he can indulge himself in another one of his his passions (music) pretty soon friends would come over to Jam and make music. People like Shadow, Sparrow, Scrunter, Kevon Carter , Keron Sealey , Dane Gulston, Orion, Mel, Cliv and most recently Lord nelson have stopped in to Jam. The only rule was "When u here you must say something on de mic. " Well on one faithful day Kevon Carter stopped by on de tail end of said Rapso artist Tamarind ball indulgence from Anil's roti shop. With seeds all over the consol Someone Lamented "ah feel like ah in a Tamarind Seed Session .....
The rest is History. When we were looking for a Name for Kevon's Concert the Name Tamarind Seed was Suggested and accepted. The Tamarind seed Sessions is Now a monthly summer music series hosted and sponsored by Coskel University.
