Because of his persistence, constant support of family and friends, and last but not least, his source Jesus, Kelly James and his ministry has already affected numerous lives. God has raised Kelly to be a forerunner for Praise & Worship leaders in this new millennium. He is quickly becoming a sought-after worship leader and conference speaker. Respected and successful musicians flock to his home church Pathway of Life for the opportunity to work with Kelly. Even well-known national ministries visiting The Pathway never fail to mention its dynamic Praise & Worship under the direction and leadership of Kelly James.

Kelly's abilities go well beyond leading worship and into the realm of writing, which is giving him recognition as a gifted songwriter. A California-based childrens aid organization requested Kelly to write as well as record a theme song for them entitled Angel Care. This song has airtime across the west coast and outside US borders to promote this organization and its cause for children.



In January of 2001, The Pathway of Life Music Ministry released their second Praise & Worship project, "Created to Praise", which includes many songs written and arranged by Kelly, of which some are receiving airtime not only the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, but also in North and South America. And 2005 brought about the release of a much anticipated Christmas/Worship project entitled "Born" by Kelly James and the Pathway of Life Choir. "Come Holy Spirit", a worship song written by Kelly from that project, is currently seeing regular rotation on KVTT 91.7, a Dallas-based praise and worship station.



Also, a song that is getting fast attention is "Single Moms" written by Kelly as a song of hope to honor some of our great heroes of today. Most recently, the true loves of his life spurred in his heart "Daddy of their Dreams", a song written for his daughters.



On a personal note, Kelly has been married 12 years to his wife Holly and they have two daughters. They reside in Dallas, Texas. Look for Kelly James latest CD to be released in 2008.
